The Boat

We invite you aboard THE REEF HUNTER an 11metre Stebercraft Fly bridge Pro-fisher. Reef Hunter is a fully insured, licensed, surveyed charter fishing boat CFB 12840.

Stebercraft are the preferred vessels used by NSW offshore rescue operations, such as Point Dangers rescue boat, Steber 1. The NSW Fisheries and the NSW Water police are also using the Stebercraft 34, and the 37, renowned for there Strength, Stability and Comfortable ride.

REEF HUNTER is powered by a 375HP/3208/V8 Caterpillar Turbo Diesel, with a cruising speed of 15 knots/top speed 20 knots, and weighing in at over 10 tonnes it, is a very comfortable ride. Forward in the Wheelhouse you'll find the master helm, galley, dinette and head (toilet). There is ample shade with two thirds of the vessel under cover. REEF HUNTER carries the latest in full colour fish finding equipment, and GPS technology, Seating for 22 passengers, However Reef Hunter only carries a NSW Charter Fishing permit for ten passengers so there's plenty of room, and with it's flush rear deck, there's nothing to trip over. The rear deck measures up at 12 feet across by 15 feet long, so there's heaps of room.
